Is this the entire Montessori School of Lake Forest?
No, it is not. The Main Campus is located in Lake Forest and goes from parent-infant through elementary. 

Will my adolescent have an easy transition to this school?
Yes! The teachers here meet the students' needs and the students are very kind. The Blue House is a welcoming community and can not wait to have your adolescent be a part of it.

How many years does Montessori School of Lake Forest Adolescent Program go through?
To stay with the Montessori tradition, the Blue House goes for three years.  From 7-9 grade.

What is the farm for?
The farm is an incredible learning experience.  For two or more hours a week, the students go work on our farm.  They do a lot, from planting, to harvesting, to to cleaning out the chicken coop.  

Where do you sell your produce?
Our produce is sold at our Friday markets at the Main Campus.  Occasionally, we hold our market at our school or the Prairie Crossing farmers market.  

How can my adolescent visit the Blue House?
To arrange a tour and/or shadowing day, you may call us at 847-543-0002. 

What do students do for lunch?
Each week, three different students are assigned to the lunch group.  The lunch group's job is to plan the meals, cook, and go shopping.  There is always vegetarian options and a snack so everyone is able to have multiple choices.
